HBO / Chernobyl + Succession

Podcast Production

As podcasting emerged as a new storytelling format for HBO, I played a key role in building the production process from the ground up.

For Chernobyl, I collaborated with an external vendor to ensure scripts were delivered in a timely manner, manage legal clearances, and finalize episodes for launch on YouTube + HBO.com.

By the time we launched the Succession podcast, production had moved fully in-house due to the company’s merger + transition to HBO MAX. I partnered closely with the HBO MAX team to build a 0→1 process to work seamlessly with their team, Editorial to ensure content + scripts reflected the tone and depth of the show, while collaborating with Design to create custom promotional assets.

I also partnered with Legal + Marketing to clear content, and with Video and Streaming teams to distribute episodes on YouTube and HBO’s streaming platforms — a first for our podcast content.

I also managed + mentored my Associate Producer, who then progressed to handling publishing, tagging + distribution across podcast platforms and HBO.com, ensuring seamless fan access across channels.
