Brand Campaigns

For my role on the Branded Content team at Genius, I had to foster deep collaboration amongst fast-paced team at a startup (Social, Video, Legal, Artist Relations, Tech, Editorial, Knowledge, Client Services, etc.) during Post-Sales execution + remotely during the pandemic.

After a campaign was sold through, I guided the cross-functional brand team through establishing campaign creative direction + deliverables while maintaining budget, timelines, client + internal feedback, delivery + launch.

Video Content

Led the production and delivery of branded video content across Genius, overseeing complex collaborations between internal creative teams, external partners + branded content clients.

Managed timelines aligned with each brand’s larger integrated campaign milestones — ensuring all sponsored + custom content — from music performances with embedded product integration to bespoke Genius Originals — were executed on time, on budget + on brand.

My role spanned pre-production through post, with a focus on aligning creative output to brand strategy, top-tier talent + client KPIs.

eBay x Genius: Promoted eBay’s new Authenticity Guarantee + premium sneaker products alongside emerging artist IV JAY.

2021 NFL Draft x Genius: Promoted the NFL Draft by asking players what artists they would draft into their ideal music lineup.

Editorial Content

Managed the execution of branded editorial content at Genius, coordinating cross-functionally with Editorial, Production, Design, Branded Content + the Genius Knowledge team to deliver cohesive, on-brand stories for clients.

Sponsored + custom articles ranged from artist spotlights to data-driven pieces powered by Genius insights. I ensured each piece met both editorial standards + campaign objectives, while aligning timelines, creative direction + internal approvals across multiple stakeholders.

  • G70: Read All The Lyrics

    Partnered with Genesis G70 to sponsor Genius’ article for Billie’s album launch, “Happier Than Ever” + promote their new car model.

  • 2021 NFL Draft in Lyrics

    Partnered with the NFL to promote the 2021 Draft and Genius data by pulling the most memorable NFL player mentions in rap lyrics.

  • Discord x '21 MTV VMAS

    Partnered with Discord for a custom Genius winner predictions article based on Genius data + to promote Discord’s sponsored category.

  • White Claw: Wavemakers

    Partnered with White Claw to deliver an editorial piece on the 2021 Wavemakers on the music scene similar to Jhenè Aiko and Aminé.

  • Rèmy: Collective Sounds

    Partnered with Rèmy Martin and top-tier talent to produce an immersive microsite experience that bridged product storytelling + music history.
